rhododendron forests, bubbling streams, and mountain villages. The final destination, Yumthang Valley, also called the “Valley of Flowers” is carpeted with blooms in spring.

2. Shillong to Dawki and Mawlynnong, Meghalaya

Start from Shillong and drive down winding hills toward Dawki. Stop at viewpoints that look out over Bangladesh, and visit

3. Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park, Assam

4. Tezpur to Tawang via Sela Pass

This high-altitude journey is one of the most dramatic road trips in India. As you climb into Arunachal Pradesh, pass through
military bases, frozen lakes, and Buddhist prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Sela Pass at 13,700 ft is a landmark in itself.
